Sy Giles is a multimedia artist living in Madesi Territory, Big Bend, Shasta County, California, USA, on Planet Earth. He was raised in the Intermountain area of the Cascade Range, in between two volcanoes: Mt. Shasta and Lassen Peak, where he has raised his children and made a successful life of creating things artistically, including poetry, paintings, drawings, milled lumber, carpentry and building, woodworking, designing, and more. His hobbies also include gardening, livestock rearing, heavy machinery operating, hunting, fishing, forestry, mycology, cooking, and helping others in his extended family and community.
